Slinky-Base Jersey is our lightest, most fluid jersey fabric - ideal for warmer weather and transeasonal dressing. It features a smooth, almost wet-feel surface that is cool to the touch and drapes beautifully.

Caring for Jersey Garments
To ensure the longevity of your jersey garments:
• Machine wash on a delicate cycle using cold water
• Turn garments inside out before washing
• Avoid mixing brights with whites
• Do not use fabric softener, as it can cause pilling
• Dry inside out in a shaded area
• Do not tumble dry
• No ironing required
Avoid long-term hanging where possible, and use internal hanging ribbons to maintain shape. Be mindful of coarse or abrasive surfaces that may cause snagging or pilling. Always follow the care instructions on the garment label.
High Pigment Jersey Garments Care
Richly pigmented colours like Magenta, Red or Navy are a stunning choice - known for their vibrant intensity, beautiful drape, and signature Leina + Fleur softness.
To maintain their brilliance, pre-washing is essential. Turn garments inside out and wash separately on a cold, delicate cycle. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can cause pilling and reduce longevity. Dry inside out in the shade. Some dye transfer to internal labels is normal and expected with deeply saturated colours.
Avoid pairing with white or light-coloured garments until fully washed to prevent colour transfer. We also recommend avoiding wearing white jackets directly over unwashed high-pigment pieces.
