Monroe Pant in Navy

The Monroes are just such a wonderful staple pant especially now they come in the 3 lengths. And wow, I love the soirée print. It really pops with my pink tops and tones down nicely with black or white. Must find a green top to match up!

I’ve taken a huge risk here, I’ve never had pattered trousers in all my life (well my adult life!!!). I normally stick to plain pants and plain or patterned tops. So, I hesitated and hummed and harred… and then did it, I ordered them!! They arrived quickly. I haven’t had an opportunity to wear them yet, but they are ready in the wardrobe with a couple of plain tops ready to wear. They did go on a short weekend trip, but then the weather got really cold and so they remained in the bag. Soon!!! I will wear them !!

I hesitated buying this print but absolutely love it. The Monroe is the most comfortable pant and this pant can be worn summer and winter. It is stylish and always looks sharp. I have several pairs of Monroe and always feel comfortable wearing them. Leila and Fleur trousers are excellent I would highly recommend.

I am NOT a patterned pants person, however Ink Olympia are the patterned pants that make you forget you’re wearing them. The pattern placement is superb, and hides all lumps and bumps. Personally, I chose to size up for beautiful fall and drape and so glad I did. With the matching top it’s a gorgeous faux jumpsuit but honestly I haven’t yet found a plain colour in my wardrobe that the print itself doesn’t go with— and that opens up a huge range for a return on investment— I might even need two pairs!

I bought the black in regular but at 165cm tall the short is actually a perfect length. Loved them so much I went back for more in the other colour options. Just fantastic.
