Silk
The Swirl Silks is on a luxe stretch silk with swirl details in green and purple. The fabric has a delicate stretch.
Swirl Silk has a luxurious drape and subtle sheen to it.
Composition: Silk, Elastane
How To Care
Your luxury silk top needs to be handled with love, so please be mindful of sharp and abrasive surfaces that can cause abrasions and snagging.
We recommend you dry clean your delicate silk top to maintain the lustre.
Silk does not have to be cleaned with every wear, just hang and air out after your outing.
To minimise dry-cleaning, you can do a delicate hand wash, which will slowly remove the soft sheen finish, leaving you with a matt finish over time.
What To Look Out For
Because of its refined quality, silk is more delicate and requires gentle care. When wearing and storing your garment, be aware of coarse, sharp and abrasive surfaces like jewellery, hard textured seats and walls. They can cause fabric abrasions such as pilling or snagging.
How To Store
Hang next to soft garments, ideally with nothing pressing against your piece.
Jersey Foil
Mikado is a metallic foil print on shimmer jersey with a black base. This fabric has soft stretch.
Metallic foil printed shimmer jerseys, have good drape and a soft 4-way stretch that holds it shape without clinging to the body.
Garments made from Mikado foil are crease resistant, easy to care for and a great choice if you’re looking for an elevated and glamorous look.
N.B. Due to the nature of the shimmer jersey base, the fabric around the foil print may appear transparent when held up to the light. There is however, no transparency when worn on the body.
Composition: 95% Polyester 5% Spandex
4 Way Stretch
Figure Hugging
Wrinkle Resistant
How To Care
To wash your Jersey Foil garment, use a ‘delicate’ wash machine setting on a cool temperature. Turn your garment inside out and avoid mixing bright colours and whites. Avoid using a fabric softener, as it can encourage fibres to pill.
As an added tip and to preserve qualities of the fabric, always wash your jersey garments separately from other textiles and dry inside out in a shaded area. Remember, our Jersey Foil is crease-resistant and doesn’t require ironing.
When caring for your garment follow the instructions on the care label.
How To Store
Do not store a jersey garment on a hanger for a long period of time. Where possible, always use the hanging ribbon to support your garment.
