Zara Top in Black Stripe

I love the colour and feel of this fabric and the cut is en pointe! The puffiness at the shoulder helps this pear gal out with balancing my frame and the tapered sleeve shows quality tailoring.
The fit is comfortable and provides warmth. I love natural fibres and the fact that this provides similar warmth like pure wool is amazing. Combined with the scarf its delicious in a cold Canberra day. Definitely pack this item with scarf if you are visiting the Capital at this time of the year.

You know when it's cold and you want something cosy and warm and soft to wear but then it's itchy and makes you sweaty? This is NOT that! This top is so soft and there is no itching or grabbing on my skin. It breathes, too; at this time of year in the icy cold (in Canberra) it can be hard to find something to wear under a heavy coat that doesn't make you get sweaty. This top seems to magically keep you at the right temperature - warm enough that you don't need an extra layer between it and your overcoat, but not so warm that you overheat the minute you walk inside. The neckline is lovely and well suited to winter with scarves and jackets and coats. The sleeves are very flattering, particularly as I have large upper arms and am a pear shape - the added 'floof' in the shoulders turns a pear into an hourglass. Love it. Even with the matching knit scarf, it isn't too hot. I wish I had bought more during the free scarf special!
I haven't washed it yet - I think it will need to be treated very carefully so as not to damage or stretch it. That may end up being a downside but so far so good.

Love the Zara top, and the olive stripe is very flattering. Went with my usual size (based on bust measurement) and the fit is great. Bought the olive vest and skirt (also great), but can also mix and match with other items in my wardrobe. Great addition to the wardrobe.

I am loving the L & F wool blend tops, including this one. The lilac colour is divine, and the fabric is soft and warm, without being too hot. Great for layering in winter. Highly recommended.
