MEET SUPERMODEL CLAIRE
Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up in Southwest England. I now live in Brisbane. My career in Medicine has brought me here via NZ over the last 11yrs and I've been in Australia since 2013.
Your favourite aspect of being in the Leina & Fleur Conversations Group?
The L&F conversations group - I love this group. It's so refreshing to be part of a space filled with so many different women lifting each other up every day and supporting each other in such a safe space.
What are three of your favourite things to do?
My 3 favourite things to do... yoga, reading and spending quality time with my family (preferably in a sunny destination where someone else cooks delicious food!!)
MEET SUPERMODEL REBECCA
Where did you grow up?
Sydney’s north western suburbs
Where do you live now?
Sydney’s lower north shore
If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room for the rest of your life, what would it be?
That’s a hard one! I like different songs for so many different reasons. What resonates with me at the moment is the song ‘This is me’ from The Greatest Showman soundtrack. I especially love the chorus... ‘Look out 'cause here I come And I'm marching on to the beat I drum I'm not scared to be seen I make no apologies, this is me’
MEET SUPERMODEL AMANDA
Where did you grow up and where do you live now?
I grew up in the south east suburbs of Perth in a place called Gosnells. Our house backed on to a dairy farm though we were only 30 minutes drive from ‘Town’ (Perth City). As a teenager it felt miles from anywhere. I appreciate now all the rich experiences we could have because we were outer suburbia and got that country / city mix.
I still live south east of Perth, but closer to the city. I’m in St James which is a small suburb bordering East Victoria Park and close to Curtin University. It is a great space with lots of single house blocks of a reasonable size.
Your favourite aspect of being in the Leina & Fleur Conversations Group?
I love the culture and vibe of the group. It is a safe and non-judgemental place. I am often blown away by the awesome ladies that are in there.
MEET SUPERMODEL KAREN
I was lucky enough to join L&F in February 2019. My current role is Customer Service. I am the voice on the phone, the words at the end of the return emails and generally the problem solver and organiser of the office.
What does a normal Day at L&F look like to you
My day is filled with customers, clothes and cheer. I am lucky enough that 2 days are never the same. I spend my day typing, talking, trying on and give a lot of assistance from suggestions of sizing, styles to try and the passing on feedback from customers.
What are your favourite aspects of L&F community
As one of three sisters I know support of other women can be a very powerful tool and that is why I think our Facebook Community is so pivotal. I love seeing women support women, seeing advice and feedback being given with honesty and love and the fact that, no matter where you are, or who you are, if another L&F lover sees you in the wild there is a bond like no other. It maybe the dress that others see first but it is the bond of our community that will outlast all dresses.
